About Caroline
Caroline Teich is a upper level event rider, horse trainer and riding instructor based at Orchard Hill Equestrian Center in Berlin, MA.
Caroline grew up in a family of horse lovers and started riding at the age of four. She competed in her first event as an eight year old on the family’s Arabian mare, Charissa, who is now enjoying retirement at Orchard Hill. By 15, Caroline was the top junior rider at the Preliminary (3’6) level in New England. She won both first and second place in the year-end high point awards, and qualified to ride in the American Eventing Championships where she placed 4th with Show of Heart.
Caroline began riding, teaching and training professionally in 2010, and has since trained a number of horses for eventing. These include Zeus, who she bought off the racetrack and brought up to the Intermediate level; Dondarrion, who she bought as a three year old and brought to the three-star level; and Flagmount’s Spartan, who is competing at the three-star level.
Caroline is always open to new opportunities, from competitive horses to green prospects to ambitious riders. Send her an email at carcorteich@gmail.com to learn more.
